Charlotte area Horror fans! George A. Romero’s DAWN OF THE DEAD is coming to The Independent Picture House for 6 screenings only on April 12th, 13th, and 14th!

*George A. Romero’s DAWN OF THE DEAD was released overseas in 1978 but debuted in the U.S. on April 13th, 1979, so for the first time in decades, the film will be re-released in cinemas to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of its US release!

I keep getting messages about a call for entries for the upcoming Mad Monster Party, so I thought I should take a moment to update everyone on my status with regards to the festival. Over the past twelve years, I've done my best to showcase talent from across the Carolinas, the Americas, and even the World in the Mad Monster Party Film Fest! When I accepted the assignment to host the film festival, it was ostensibly to have a venue in which to feature my own selection of short and feature films, and we managed to do just that.
